I give it 8/10,
I absolutely loved my four years at the university. It had such an inclusive and positive environment that encouraged students to be themselves, while also celebrating the differences between us. The academics are very challenging, but also achievable. They do not allow you to fall behind or without a safely net. At the same time, a lot of thought goes into the importance of socializing as well as the school organized a variety of events on campus that could be attended.

It’s one of the good universities available in Africa, so it’s definitely a recommendation from me. One thing I dislike is how exorbitant the fees are. It doesn’t make sense why the fees are so high. Especially because tuition does not cover other expenses such as clinic fees or being part of a society etc. Making it challenging for students who come from low class homes financially.

WITS was the best decision I’ve made for a university. Not only are courses interesting, but challenging too ( in a good way). They really have geared me up for my career. They may have not been my first choice, but definitely was my best choice.
