University of the Witwatersrand - WITS (reviews)

My opinion about this university is that it’s outstandingly the elite among its competitors. It dominates largely and effortlessly in Africa.

What I like about the university it’s the alumni they produce from its solid calyst of the staff and values of the institution. I did dislike the fact that “Fees Must Fall” protest affected students badly.

I will gladly and proudly recommend it.

I like the fact that Wits university accommodates everyone including people from other countries, I enjoyed my studying as I was studying business management it is a good university with good lecturers
The campus life was fun because I didn’t cook daily like when I was still staying at home with my parents, I woke up in my own time and sometimes go out to unwind with my friends
Wits is the best university because if you are struggling in a certain subject they assign a lecturer to attend to your needs and make sure that u pass and improve in that certain subject
I enjoyed my stay in Wits university it was the best 4 years of my life

WITS gave me a strong academic foundation. The lecturers are knowledgeable and the campus life is vibrant with lots of societies and events. Some admin processes can be slow, but overall the support from staff is good. I would recommend WITS to students who want a challenging and reputable university experience.

The institution isn’t bad, just expected more. Every views Wits as the Harvard of SA, but when you look inside the school it looks a little old…
Mind you, it’s been here for 100 years, it’s like a bigger version of a college. But, it’s a beautiful school, just expected more..
