I had an amazing time at this institution.
The support they provide their students is immeasurable. From first year orientation righ through to final year. The lecturers in the EMS dept as well as the School of Gov were always willing to go the extra mile to provide assistance.

This university opened my mind to so many things that I was previously unaware of, and granted me the opportunity to see the world through a different lens. The professors and lecturers are all incredible at what they do, the student culture is vibrant, and the overall campus life is an exhilarating experience. My only concern, however, lies with the administration staff, as through their shortcomings, many students were robbed of an opportunity to complete their studies.

It is a great University, with a diverse student population. It is a place where one can come in and be themselves in my opinion. There are some administrative issues and delays which I do not like but doesn’t make the University a bad place or any less great.

Those that do not have enough food or can not afford groceries are allowed to apply for food parcels, as they will be provided with food parcels on a monthly basis. During exams the SRC provide students with a meal to eat before or after writing exams.

UWC is a very welcoming university where all students are considered a family and help each other when in need of something. Lecturers provide students with the most helpful resources to help perform well academically. However, UWC need to build more residentials for students as this is one of the issues faced by UWC, students being declined res.

The University is an excellent school for learning and development. However, the social work department could entail more social workers who have ample experience in a variety of social work settings to explore the relevant and in-depth field work experiences. More practical examples and tangible experiences could offer remarkable insight into the field for students and young professionals.

It is very accommodating in terms of academics and culture. What I like about UWC is how efficient things are from admin to lectures. What I do not like about this institution is the upkeep of their infrastructure.
