“I have been a student at the University of Ljubljana for the past year, and it has been a very rewarding experience. The academic standards are quite high, especially in the technical and social science faculties. Most of the professors are experts in their fields and are quite approachable, though some courses can feel a bit traditional in their teaching methods.
One of the best things about studying here is the ‘Student Bon’ system (subsidized meals), which makes living in Ljubljana very affordable for students. The city itself is incredibly safe and vibrant. The only minor drawback is that some of the older faculty buildings could use a renovation, and finding English-taught modules in certain departments can be tricky. Overall, it’s a top-tier choice for education in Central Europe.”
