In my opinion, University of Belgrade has various types of specialties. For example, faculty of mechanical engineering has over 20 different majors such as Biomedical engineering, weapons systems, Aerospace engineering…

I’m studying at Mechanical Faculty inside the University of Belgrade and it’s great. I would recommend it to everyone. Very diverse fields are covered here, too many modules for master science (and every single module is phenomenal). I’ve heard that other Faculties inside this University are also good. Professors are great, but, like everywhere, there are some bad ones. Not a single student is discriminated, whole faculty acts as one person. It is easier to move on and pass all exams while studying in a group! That is what I like the most here!

On the faculty of Mechanical engineering the structure of the studies are great but some professors could have more engagement in helping students understand the subjects. There are a lot of activities outside of the studies that are helpful like student engineering teams

The faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Belgrade is one of the most popular faculties in Serbia because it has a long tradition and high-quality educational programs which give each student (future engineer) fundamental knowledge within Bachelor’s degree. After getting Bachelor’s degree, students can apply for master’s academic studies and specialize in one particular field where they spend at least 2 years practising and studying. I would highly recommend this school if future students want to specialize in the field of mechanical engineering. Not only that they will get the knowledge, but also a lot of friends and memories since Belgrade is full of dormitories. There are 11 student residencies in Belgrade, including Studentski Grad, which, in addition to dormitories and a restaurant, has two libraries, a cinema and a theatre building, conference halls and an open stage for summer concerts. Student residencies are vibrant places, where you can live, eat, study and meet new friends and colleagues. Also, our university has 2 teams (Beoavia and Road Arrow) in which students can practically use their knowledge and participate in competitions. Building and facilities aren’t brand new, and equipment for laboratories could be better, but that’s something which can be finessed.

There are a lot of great possibilities to enrol in students’ organizations, to be part of many different projects, study groups. Many faculties collaborate and they create many amazing opportunities such as free language classes, student mentoring other students for different subjects etc.
After finishing Technical faculties (Mechanical and Electro engineering) students get jobs right away. Our diploma is recognized worldwide. Professors are always improving classes and making them in step with technology.

Things about the University of Belgrade that stand out to me the most are just how good the professors are at transferring their knowledge and how streamlined the process of learning is. All the student has to worry about is studying. Also, when talking about value, the University of Belgrade is second to none. I’m truly enjoying my time here.
