Overall, my experience at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University has been quite mixed. On the positive side, the actual courses are good and provide a solid educational foundation. Many dedicated professors truly put in a lot of effort, care about their subjects, and go out of their way to ensure students understand the material.

However, the university is severely let down by the unprofessionalism of some of its faculty members. There is a noticeable lack of discipline among certain professors, which leads to disorganized classes and a general disregard for basic academic standards. Much more concerning, though, is that a few professors exhibit highly inappropriate and boundary-crossing behavior towards students. This kind of unprofessional, predatory conduct creates a very uncomfortable environment and is completely unacceptable in an educational institution.

While the academic material and the good professors make the courses worthwhile, the university urgently needs to enforce strict accountability and address these severe ethical and disciplinary issues among its staff.
