Overall, I had a pretty positive experience at York University. I met a lot of great people, learned a lot during my time there, and appreciated the variety of opportunities available. Like any school, it had its ups and downs, but I enjoyed my university experience overall.

York U’s student community was amazing for my first experience in univerisity in Canada. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly, was really easy getting along with others and collaborating on course projects!

There are too many strikes at York University. Someone’s always striking, literally! It can be the TA’s, professors, students, other support workers. It’s disruptive. The campus is good but the location is terrible.

Whai i like the most about the university is the flexibility of the program and the supportive learning environment. The campus is also very diverse, which makes it so easy to meet new people. Honestly yes, i would recommend York University especially for students who are looking for a flexible and diverse program.
It’s a good place to grow both academically and personally
