Overall I enjoyed my experience at York. I think a lot of people talk badly about the school however I feel like I had a lot to take away. I think the courses and professors I had were good, I was able to meet some great people and make some really good connections. I think my only issue is that it was far away from my house and that I would get tired going up there and have to do a 1 hour journey there and back. But that is my fauly for picking a university that was further away.
View moreI personally like it around here so far. There is alot of events and collaborations that take place frequently and motivates you in some kind of way by which faculty is organizing those events. You wont be bored as long as you’re keeping yourself busy and attending and making the most out of it. Some programs may seem boring but keep an interest and move on as time takes you.
View moreI love the profs and the inclusivity, it is a big university with a lot of fields that you can study. I think York is a great place to study psychology, as it is my field of study and major, it has a lot of facilities and stores too.
View moreThe University itself is considered to be a commuting school, which to many is a bonus. Depending on your program York offers a variety of courses for you to chose from. Most professors are kind and understanding, but can also be tough, so before choosing a course it is recommended to review the given professors. overall I give York University a 4/5 for inclusiveness and a great environment.
