For five years, I walked that same stretch of road to the faculty building, stepping into that quiet, heavy academic air every single morning. The professors were these older, approachable guys who commanded respect without even trying, mostly because they weren’t just career academics living in a bubble. A lot of them came to lectures straight from their day jobs as plant managers or senior engineers at local manufacturing firms. When they taught us about material fatigue or tolerance stacking, they weren’t reciting a textbook they were throwing real blueprints on the desk and breaking down the exact mechanical failures they had just spent all week figuring out on the shop floor.

This university presents more than 7 faculties and is very diversed. Here you can learn varied fields of engineering and is really good in terms of seriousness. The student campus is very pleasent and the students are really friendly. Also the majority of professors are open minded and the courses are up to date. Overall, if you want to be a good engineer and you are from Romania, come here, you won’t regret it.

Overall I’ve had a good experience at the university. I’d say that about 80% of the labs have good equipment and they’re genuinely interesting. The professors are a good combination of being serious but also laid back and understanding.
