The way university and teacher dealed with me and my collegues where perfect, we got everythig arranged for us (not portuguese speakers), with english classes or teachers that where able to communicate in english. The Sport Science campus was one really good, I’ve really enjoyed my time there

This is a great university, the ambience the people and everything surrounding it is just jolly, the erasmus programme I think is one of the best in the country, the faculties are well equipped and in a certain way advanced technologically, although the pressure and stress of it sometimes is not acceptable, I would recommend

My experience at University of Coimbra was genuinely positive, and I would confidently recommend it to anyone considering studying there. One of the first things that stood out to me was how well the university is integrated into the heart of the city. Coimbra itself is vibrant yet manageable, and having the university spread across multiple campuses (“polos”) gives it a dynamic and expansive feel without losing a sense of community. Campus life was truly one of its strongest points. There was a great balance between academic commitment and social life. The infrastructure also deserves recognition. There were plenty of green spaces where you could relax, unwind, or even study outdoors. In addition, the university offered well-equipped study areas, libraries, and comfortable spaces for both individual work and group collaboration. Academically, the quality of teaching was high. The professors were knowledgeable, dedicated, and often very approachable.

In the 5 years I have been study in FLUC almost all of my professore’s were very supportive and attentive of all of is student’s. In various cases some of them even left their way to help me in any way they could, regarding difficulties with papers or administrative issues.
