I’m taking a master’s degree at ISCTE, and so far it has been a wonderful experience. The facilities are big, there are several buildings, and I don’t think I’ll ever memorize the map, but everyone is so nice there, just ask any student (unless they’re like me). I love the patios, there are a lot of benches and spots to hang out with your colleagues and friends. Several bars with snacks as well.
The classes and the teachers are also very nice; some of them are “extra” with their powerpoints, which makes classes super fun and interactive.
ISCTE is a University suitable for academic excellence, particullary in Policy and Political Science Fields. Quality reearchers and research units that will provide a good environment to persue your academic goals
View moreI got my Masters Degree in ISCTE Sociology and Public Policy School. It is by far the best school in this particular field, with some of the leading researchers in Portugal. The campus is a mixed of older and newer buildings, but everything is quite good. Recommended
View moreI really like my university because it offers interdisciplinary courses in both Portuguese and English, which makes it very suitable for integrating international students. I also appreciate the strong focus on research, which is excellent for developing analytical skills. The only downside I’ve experienced is the timetable, Master’s courses are scheduled in the afternoon, which for me wasn’t ideal for concentration. Overall, I would highly recommend this university for the quality of teaching, the variety of programs offered, the support available to students, and the rich academic experience you can have here.
View moreThe quality of education is satisfying, for someone like me coming from another field entirely, I thought it wouldn’t be easy to blend it but I was wrong. The Professors teach with enthusiasm and passion which makes me have good grasp of the course.
Also I wouldn’t but mention how conducive the learning environment is.
Overall I am doing well and if I consider getting a PhD it would be ISCTE again.
