I am pursuing my Phd in marketing at the University of Karachi. Uok is one of the renowned public sector universities in Pakistan, which provides quality education to the students at an affordable price offering a wide range of courses at graduate, postgraduate and PhD levels. However, gaianing admission at the university is purely merit based, so the students aspiring to be the part of this institute must possess good grades at the high school level since the benchmark for each program is predefined. Despite being an educational hub, having multiple departments and highly qualified staff, Uok still needs upgradtion in their systems as most of their processes are still outdated and lengthy. They have huge scinece and IT labs but still they need to implement modern facilities and IT infrastructure as per the modern day requirements. Overall, my experience with the univeristy has been overwhelming and amazing, both in terms of faculty and curriculum but as I mentioned already, there are still some loop holes in the system, which must be addressed to make it a world classs university.
