University of Karachi (reviews)

Karachi University is one of Pakistan’s oldest educational institution. It used to be a premier tertiary educational institution till early 2000s but this is no longer the case. The infrastructure is poor and political appointments over the years have left a faculty that doesn’t know anything about its subject matter.

THE UNIVERISITY IS OVERALL GOOD ,FACULTY WAS MARVELOUS ,TEACHERS WERE SELFLESS AND TRY TO ALWAYS TEACH YOU TO MAKE YOUR CARRER PROGRESS .LAB IS WELL MAINTAINED AND LIBRARY HAS GOOD COLLECTION OF BOOKS . HAVE FREE BUSSES FOR STUDENTS ,SPORTS ,FREE BOOK BANK TO BORROW BOOKS AND SPORTS EVENTS ROUND THE CLOCK . WE HAVE SOCIAL GATHERING TOO . ONLY BIG LACKING WAS ABOUT REASERCH ,NOTHING ON THAT SIDE

Historic and respected institute of Karachi, wide range of program, low cost, research potential,
Most people like Karachi University because of its academic value and the recognition of its degree. However, many are unhappy with the management and the lack of modern facilities. Overall, people appreciate it academically but are disappointed with its administration.

My university life was like a I am in a Skill based University that nurtured me in various practical fields:
Team Management, Problem solving, Taking initiative, Public Speaking.

Faculty was very cooperative, only administrative staff some time very rude and stiff.
Now I am a Campus Manager in another University that provides online education not only recognized in Pakistan but also in European countries as well.
Whatever I am today is because of faculty I had been bestowed with. So my piece of advice is to make most of your university days and you will be successful in the real corporate world.
