In general, I like my study program, however, I think the university could improve some subjects, as they are just not that useful and sometimes not understandable while the criteria of subjects are very high. But the faculty and administration of civil engineering at Vilnius Tech I think is one of the best ones, because they will try to help no matter what, and suggest the best solution.

Pros: Technological progress; knowledge; communication professors with students; high level of education.

Cons: improve professors’ English skills; distribute study program evenly; remove unnecessary subjects.

I really like the programme I chose. Although, the study process itself is not always interesting or interactive. There are a lot of international students, which is really great. As for students’ life, I can say that it’s something outstanding, but there are still a lot of events. The accommodation is really good, the dormitory provided by the university has all the needed conveniences.

I liked the teachers, teaching method and classes we had. Due to the covid situation, we couldn’t have some practical lessons, but I think it not a problem, because anyway after covid we did some labs in RTU as well.

The program of Civil engineering in Vilnius Tech is really strong and modern. Both the theoretical and practical part of it is quite impressive. Vilnius tech facilities include 23 research laboratories, where promoting the development of smart and green buildings and green cities and a qualification improvement system of construction workers is created. Our university helps students to dive deeper into STEM by providing different opportunities. For example, on of the best experience of mine is participation in MakeAdemy. During the Makeademy, participants in the teams tested their strength in creating innovative prototypes of future products, gain experience from professionals who successfully develop products in the market and found like-minded people.
Vilnius is one of the best cities for students. In addition to that Vilnius Tech is doing its best to make students’ lives better. We have a dormitory near the campus, library, cafeterias and etc. For international students life at Vilnius Tech is super interesting and comfortable, since everyone knows English and is ready to help you. It’s very fun and joyful over here! You gain amazing knowledge and experience for your future career, meet a lot of interesting and open-minded people.

VilniusTech – in my opinion, this university provides good theoretical and practical knowledge. I am studying Civil Engineering, one of the most popular and hard programs. I like the study curriculum as long as all the subjects are useful in my professional career. They have good laboratories where theoretical knowledge is backed up with practical. Overall I would suggest this university if you are willing to study Engineering subjects.
