I took a BA in Social Work at University of Trento. The professors were incredible, the lectures and courses were interesting and coherent with the course subjects and the needs of a social worker. I’ve been working for a year now and this three year degree gave me the best possible preparations, I do feel as if I’ve come into the job with more practical knowledge compared to some co-workers who have studied elsewhere. There are some problems, of course, but it’s overrall the best choice I ever made in terms of education. The University fosters a climate that spurs students on to challenge beliefs, think outside of the box, and question everything. I have met open minded professors, and the University faculty members and organization has been very open to constructive criticism and feedback in my experience. I owe a lot to the sociology department!
