In choosing the university for my master’s degree, after careful evaluations, I chose Tor Vergata: I can confirm that I could not have chosen better. My degree course (entirely in English) can be classified, in my opinion, among the best in the Italian territory. The professors are all more than competent and, what’s more, very helpful. Despite the pandemic, even the remote lessons, complete with receptions, were organized in an impeccable way (and even today the online mode is guaranteed for those unable to attend in person: another plus point!).
The organization of the university, in general, is very good, the only flaw is the places in the study room (few, although I think it is a temporary thing: many classrooms are closed due to COVID; this discomfort should no longer exist in the coming months). A negative note that I would like to give is for the position: certainly not comfortable, quite out of the way, and the Roman traffic does not help.
However, it is a university that I would recommend to all my friends: there are various degree courses and a wide choice for master’s / masters, and all with very valid programs. Furthermore, Tor Vergata is a university that offers ample opportunities to students: Erasmus program, Overseas, internships abroad, all thanks to the contacts established with European and non-European universities and companies over the years.
Speaking specifically of master’s degrees, the university does its utmost to provide its students with internships/job interviews; as a result, many students, even before finishing their studies, manage to find a job.
Needless to reiterate, therefore, that the positives outweigh the negatives (and not a little!).
