The University of Milan - UniMi (reviews)

Currently at my second year of Medicine at the university, and so far the one thing I want to really highlight is the competence and availability of the professors.
Sure, some things like the planning of the exams could be better, but overall I am really enjoying my studies and my experience at UniMi!

I studied linguistic and cultural mediation. The university is well organised. There is always available space in the classroom – even though the class are quite big (sometimes 50+students) and the timetable are acceptable. If you are studying languages, you will receive lots of cultural notions but, in my opinion, not enough tools to have a proper conversation in a foreign language.

I would recommend this university because it allowed me to complete several internships over the years, which allowed me to explore a variety of career opportunities. Another positive aspect is the limited number of students. Since there were only 50 of us, the professors were able to provide constant and personal support. The negative aspect is that my degree program wasn’t held in a separate campus within the university, and I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the experience (my program was held on the upper floor of a healthcare facility).

We have highly competent professors and offer an incredibly wide range of courses, though the university struggles with a severe lack of funds. Fortunately, the students come from diverse backgrounds and are generally chill, laid-back people.
