The curriculum I followed was great, it had great depth and the professors were always prepared and available to students.
The structure, the administrator and the organisation could be largely include. There is a lack of spaces, lessons’ schedules were a nightmare for commuting students and the administrative processes required ages to be done.
Studying at the University of Milan has been a challenging yet rewarding experience for me. As a student, I’ve found the academic environment to be both stimulating and demanding. The professors are generally very knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, which makes lectures engaging, especially when they connect theory to real-world applications. However, the teaching style can sometimes feel quite traditional, with a strong focus on lectures rather than interactive learning.
One of the aspects I appreciate most is the diversity of courses and resources available. The university offers a wide range of programs, allowing students to explore different interests and build a solid academic foundation. The libraries and study spaces are well-equipped, although they can get quite crowded during exam periods.
On the administrative side, things can occasionally be frustrating. Processes like enrollment, scheduling, or accessing certain services are not always as smooth or efficient as I would expect, and it sometimes takes patience to navigate the system.
Student life in Milan is definitely a highlight. The city itself offers countless opportunities for cultural experiences, networking, and social activities. Being surrounded by such a vibrant environment adds a lot to my overall university experience.
Overall, while there are areas that could be improved, especially in terms of organization and modernization, I feel that studying here is helping me grow academically and personally. It’s an experience that is preparing me well for future challenges.
View moreI studied at UniMi during the pandemic, so most of the classes were provided online. Despite this, the quality was still high and I appreciated the effort from the professors to still keep the students interacting and participating to the classes
View moreI found a dynamic environment, collaborative professors, a good organization that helps students in many ways.
In general, most locations are near public transporation, and they are safe. I’d choose it again.
The university is pretty good. Nothing too fancy, they do the job (not the helping desk tho, they take forever to respond and usually don’t know how to solve your problems). The professors are quite good, but the workload is too much in my opinion and they don’t help students after graduation.
