I’m a fourth-year psychology student at Sigmund Freud University’s Paris campus, and I can confidently say it’s been an incredible journey.
The professors are not only experts in psychoanalysis but also passionate about teaching and mentoring. Professor Dr. Aurélie Tron’s seminars on Lacanian theory were instrumental in deepening my understanding of the human psyche. Her enthusiasm and patience inspired me to pursue a specialization in clinical psychology.
What sets SFU Paris apart is its unique blend of theoretical and practical training. Through the university’s clinical internship program, I gained hands-on experience working with clients at a local hospital under the supervision of experienced therapists. This not only honed my therapeutic skills but also gave me the confidence to pursue a career in clinical psychology.
Living in Paris has been a dream come true. From attending lectures at the famous Institut Psychanalytique to exploring the city’s rich cultural heritage, there’s no shortage of opportunities to deepen your knowledge and passion for psychology.
My advice to future students? Be prepared to immerse yourself in a rigorous academic program that will challenge your thinking and broaden your perspectives. SFU Paris offers a unique opportunity to explore the human psyche in a city steeped in history and culture.
If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Sigmund Freud University in Paris without hesitation. The experience has been truly transformative, and I feel grateful to be part of the SFU community.
