I started my master’s degree at Milan University this September. Although I am new at Unimi, I really appreciate professors approach to the program. They make you understand even complex examples with easy and practical ways. Moreover one of the most important factors is that some lectures have different research methods in order to deeply analyse even hard subjects. My degree is Economics and Political sciences so I strongly believe that at the end of my study I will be able to have solid and academic knowledge at both subjects in which could definitely help me for professional career.Overall, it is considered one of the most prestigious universities in Italy and facilities are easy reachable also well equipped.
View moreThe faculty of Environmental Science and Policy is an outstanding place and community of people that gave me a lot of purpose and direction in my career and personal life. I have to thank all the great professors who took care of me and worked directly with me on my final thesis project. This is a really special project for me and deeply connected to my studies in Environmental Sciences. Being involved with ecological policy is the next chapter for me. None of this could have been possible without the amazingly structured curriculum, with accents on organizational ecological work, volunteer organizing, lobbying for the environment, and policy writing and negotiation in a multinational context. If you are interested in these topics, I suggest you check out this Bachelor’s Degree and join the people who are thinking of the future of this planet.
View moreI am overall quite pleased with the university of Milan. Coming from a UK university I didn’t know what to expect on a year abroad but I found the place pleasant, the university, although quite dispersed over town, is rather well organized and the staff overall nice. It seems as though the expectations aren’t as high as my home university which gives me more time to enjoy the city, Regardless, the teaching is very good and the classes I’ve chosen are very interesting.
View moreI studied International Sciences and European Institutions at the bachelor and then IR at the master. The quality of professor’s teaching is really high and fully professional. I would surely advise it for the huge content of information which someone can learn but in terms of organization, spaces (no adequate canteen, the quality of food and conventions for student are terrible, libraries too small with not too much sources, no possibility to study on Saturday and Sunday -neither in exam periods- in almost any kind of university space) and bureaucracy in general the quality is really low, due to the incompetence (maybe unwillingness) of the system to change the way things are.
