University of Cassino - UNICAS (reviews)

I highly recommend this university. The professors are highly knowledgeable, always open to discussion and capable of conveying great passion for their subject. The academic environment in general is very stimulating and positive. The only slight downside is the lack of IT resources and equipment available to students, an aspect that definitely needs improvement. Overall it is and experince I strongly recommend.

What I liked the most was the nice campus, it’s quite new and within walking distance to class.
Another great thing is that Unicas allowed students to join Erasmus program so as a student I has many choices.

My experience at UNICAS has been generally positive, academically the professors are friendly and highly competent
the city is very affordable compared to other italian cities
however the organization and the administrative processes can be tiring also finding accommodation can be real challenge and university doesn’t offer any kind of help with the housing
its good university but you need to prepare yourself to deal with a lot of bureaucracy

I’m a 2nd year Bsc in Industrial Engineering Technology student here. So far the experience is good but it’s not up to the mark. I came here expecting a 10 but I’m getting a 6 academically. They mostly follows theoretical approaches and less practical for our course. Also there are many lacking in the degree program. There should have been more courses regarding practical knowledge and lab sessions. However, the curriculum is good overall, the support from the university and the professors are up to the mark. Professors are very nice and friendly, also very helpful. The students are the same as well. Cassino is a small city full of students. The people are very nice and friendly with the students. Nowadays, there’s a little shortage of accommodation as many students are coming. Accommodation prices are increasing day by day. Cassino is a small, lively city. I’m enjoying every bit of Cassino.
