I love the fact that St. Xavier’s manages to retain its integrity and academic excellence in the face of competition from the various Universities throughout India. During my time at this Institution, I appreciated the opportunities I was presented with both academically and professionally. I believe the institution does not force you to become someone else, rather it tries to hone your existing talent and helps you become the best You, you can be.

St. Xavier’s College is one of Calcutta’s oldest, most revered institutions, not only because of the great minds who have passed through its hallowed portals as students and teachers. Providing state of the art facilities and an academic environment of the highest standing, St. Xavier’s has proved time and again to be a centre of excellence and holistic development, with a blend of the traditional and the modern. True to its legacy, the college continues to churn out leaders and pioneers to this day.

The college is extremely renowned and lives up to its expectations when it comes to academics. But the faculty might be slightly biased. The drawback of the college is that it provides much exposure or a stage to showcase other non academic talents.
