Studying at the University of Delhi has been a transformative journey. The LLB programme here is intellectually rigorous and grounded in real-world legal reasoning. Faculty members are experienced, many of whom are practicing advocates and reputed scholars, and their insights go beyond textbooks. The curriculum is well-structured and updated, encouraging a strong foundation in law, critical thinking, and research.
What stands out most is the exposure — from guest lectures by Supreme Court advocates to student-led legal aid clinics and moot court competitions, there’s a wealth of learning beyond the classroom. The student diversity adds immense value to class discussions, and being in Delhi offers proximity to the Supreme Court, Parliament, and top law firms.
That said, infrastructure and administrative systems do need improvement. Library hours, digital resources, and classroom facilities could be better aligned with modern standards.
Despite this, I would definitely recommend DU’s Faculty of Law for anyone serious about legal education. The name, network, and opportunities it offers are truly unmatched in India.
