My experience at KNUST has been fulfilling. The university provides a strong academic environment with well-structured programmes, especially in science and technology. Lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, and there are good opportunities for research and innovation.

Campus life is vibrant and diverse, offering great networking opportunities. The library and labs are useful, though often crowded. Administrative processes can be slow, and accommodation is competitive, which can be frustrating.

Overall, KNUST is a solid choice for anyone seeking quality education in STEM, though improved student services would make the experience even better.

One of the most captivating aspects of KNUST’s culture is its electric sense of community. The hall system turns dormitories into lively mini-societies where friendships are forged through shared traditions. I especially love the adrenaline of Hall Week Celebrations with the drumming, the chants, the way even the shyest students transform into proud hall ambassadors. There’s something magical about midnight debates at Bush Canteen, where the smell of sizzling kelewele mixes with passionate arguments about everything from economic policies to which Afrobeats artist had the best year. The blend of old and new also thrills me. You’ll see students in crisp corporate attire for morning presentations, then spot those same students in relaxed, stylish fits by afternoon

Had great experience from my hall of recidence, called Republic Hall. The University has great facilities which includes libraries, enough study areas, well furnished conference halls. The lecturers are very well experienced.

My first day at KNUST was a fufilling one. Way back in senior high school, I always had that dream of joining KNUST. I worked hard towards it and I gained admission. Fast forward, I found myself in the university environment. It was an awesome experience during my stay on campus. Academic work , extra cuticular activities and the friends I made were all dear to me. I had the opportunity of interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

I enrolled as an economics student some years ago but I started socializing and going for programs or events that helped me shape my career as an economics student. I learned how to use social media to create demand for a product and sell your products. I was able to apply what I learned and has greatly improved my life after graduating.

During my postgraduate studies in KNUST,I encountered colleague students and faculty members that have influenced my life in many ways. We were encouraged to build connections that will help us gain relevance outside of the classroom and help us actively influence our societies.
The programme was centered on practicality rather than theory and this help change my worldview and made me more resultresults-oriented.
I think anyone looking to pursue a postgraduate degree that seeks to push building relationships and developing relevant skills should look to enroll in KNUST

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is one of the oldest universities in the country which is located in Kumasi and has various courses students can choose from plus provides extra activities students can participate to build their confidence. But hostel facilities are expensive
