The university is good the campus is clean with well equipped laboratories, the teaching is digitally awesome, high technology. I don’t like the behavior of some departments, and the way some departments do things

The university is opened to people from all walks of life and embraces every making it possible for students to build their interpersonal relationships. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a science and technology education. The school helped me build on my confidence and public speaking ability.All hails to Dr. Patrick Boakye who mentored me.

My time at KNUST has been a journey of both challenges and great rewards. Academically, the courses in petrochemical engineering are rigorous, which has pushed me to develop critical thinking skills and a strong work ethic. I’ve particularly appreciated the small class sizes in my department, as they allow for more direct interaction with professors and meaningful discussion among students.

On the other hand, navigating some of the administrative processes, like financial aid or course registration, can sometimes feel a bit confusing. It’s often required that you be proactive and persistent to get the information you need.

The social atmosphere on campus is what you make of it. While there are plenty of events and clubs to get involved in, it can take some effort to find your community. However, once you do, you’ll find a group of dedicated and passionate students.

Overall, KNUST is an excellent fit for a student who is self-motivated and willing to seek out resources. It offers a high-quality education and a strong foundation for future success.

overall I will definitely recommend it because it gives training that is needed in the real world or in real life. It is just too fast paced and nobody cares how you are pulling up. The lecturers are good but make everything too complex and that is not necessary. Exams are unfair and nobody is doing anything about it

The University is designed specifically to tailor to the care of engineering students, even though they offer different courses, the engineering students from the school do excel after graduation. This makes it a University where i will recommend to anyone who wants to pursue a career in engineering.

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is a science-based university in Ghana with competent lecturers, modern academic and accommodation facilities and a rich culture that prepares it students for life even beyond the four walls of the school.

Infrastructures at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is one of the best there is in Africa. Great lecture halls and hostels with perfect positioning positionings. Most hostels are sited on campus for convenience of students.

When I was a freshman, I was in a public hostel where the security personnel are dedicated to work to ensure safety. This included verifying identities of outsiders or students who don’t belong to particular halls. After my first year, I had to find a secure hostel and found some right on campus. The GUSSS hostels are very secured. I would recommend this school for its safe environment.

I really enjoyed the lectures because most of our lecturers were friendly and made the studies so fun, I had some interesting groups for most often group discussions which was very interactive, there were many take-home assignments which always kept us studying and the programme as a whole is very challenging and so day in day out you get to broaden your knowledge on most of the disciplines in the engineering field, our curriculum was structured in such a way that the first two years you would take a general and fundamental engineering course but the other two years are just for specializations in one’s field with trips to some companies to really grasp the industrial aspect of what we learnt.. the school organized most often hall weeks and so socially it was fun, academically too there was workshops organized and health Wise too there was a series of health-related activities to keep everyone active including health walk, first aid basic techniques and the like… In total, I would say my school has really shaped me to actually become what I perceive in life and of course would recommend it to everyone not only in my country but international too though it’s in Africa.. haha … What I didn’t like about my programme or the engineering as a whole was, there was less of a practical sense and more of theoretical aspects and I think the faculty can do something about it to inculcate that most often into the curriculum .. overall my school is the best here in Ghana!
