After a year and a half studying this program, I can say it’s been a solid choice overall. The course content is definitely the strongest aspect; everything feels very practical and directly applicable to real-world AI scenarios. Unlike some programs that get bogged down in pure theory, IU does a great job connecting concepts to actual industry applications, which I really appreciate as someone looking to work in this field.
However, the program can be quite intense. They pack a substantial amount of critical information into each course and even individual chapters, which can feel overwhelming at times. If you’re like me and tend to deep-dive into topics beyond the required materials, expect to spend significantly more time than initially planned on each subject. The content density requires good time management skills.
The online format offers excellent flexibility; being able to take exams whenever you feel ready without advance booking is fantastic and removes a lot of scheduling stress. This self-paced approach really suits working professionals or those with other commitments. However, bear in mind that the compliance and code of conduct regarding sitting for online examinations are a lot and pretty strict tho.
One area for improvement is customer support response times. When I’ve had urgent questions, responses have sometimes taken longer than ideal, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to keep momentum in your studies. Most of the time, it replies within 2-3 working days.
Considering the quality of education and the practical focus of the curriculum, the program offers good value for money. It’s an affordable option compared to similar programs I researched.
