I completed my Master’s in Metallic Materials Technology at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. When I studied, the program was still developing and consisted of only three semesters. It has since evolved into a more structured four-semester program with improved organization and course content. I particularly appreciated the strong practical focus, modern laboratories, and close interaction with professors. Freiberg is an affordable student city, and I would definitely recommend the program to anyone interested in materials science and metallurgy, specifically to do top notch research.
