I studied M2 at UPEC. This course was supposed to be presented in English, but surprisingly most of the professors and universitie’s staff did not( or didn’t want to) speak English. The worst part was university educational management. It was made up of unqualified and unhelpful guys who could not respond to the students’ problems. I am very surprised by the ranking of the university because I did not find the facilities of the university suitable at all.
View moreI completed my full law degree at UPEC and I am continuing my studies at this same university in M1 notarial law because I find that the teachers and lecturers are very competent and pedagogical. What I like the most at UPEC is the closeness and mutual support between students.
View moreI am personally studying in Administration and international exchanges, in my 3rd year and I have been experiencing a lot of things in this university.
Indeed, it is important to know that I have been a student during the Covid period, a hard time for everyone. Out of this, I would like to specify that there are very very interesting teachers who made me happy about going to class, I mean they are not just reading a PowerPoint, they are dedicated to their students, particularly my Spanish teacher, he is the only one really invested in our orientation, and I mean I am on my 3rd year, I had to choose where to go for next year and he was the only one to guide us a little bit, the black point is that with him we don’t have a really organised class, but to me it was ok, I enjoyed it because he was no simply telling facts but taking real-life experiences and I really enjoyed it.
In addition, during my first year, I had a very funny but interesting teacher, English teacher, kind of crazy, teaching us about market stocks… I really enjoyed my classes with him, same thing, he was INTERESTING, DYNAMIC.
There are also other teachers that really great but I mean these two are REALLY nice to study with.
The drawbacks of this university are that there is no organisation, we received the exams information less than one week before it started one time. Then, we normally have a referent teacher for each Parcours, I have NEVER seen mine in all my time at university, and I am not someone who misses classes a lot. I am disappointed about her because, I mean hopefully our Spanish teacher was here to inform us and help us not to miss some deadlines, important information…
The biggest advantage of this university is that I had the opportunity to go for an Erasmus in the Czech Republic, for a semester and it was absolutely amazing, nothing bad to say about that, administrative persons were really reactive and efficient. The only little black point is that I basically applied to go to a university in Prague, and I was selected by BRNO. How was that possible? I don’t know but I was determined to go, and I was right, it was amazing, I really recommend to all students to take the opportunities they are offered.
Anyway, to sum up, this is a nice university, we don’t have a huge amount of work to do, there is opportunities but you have to stay in touch with all going on and take as much opportunities as you can.
Don’t wait for your grades to arrive early because they will not.
But enjoy and use the information transmitted by your teachers.
Development Economics and International Project management is a very interesting and dynamic course. It talks about debates about development aid, Econometrics & development studies, Project cycle management and it involves a field mission to a developing country.
This degree would open career paths to development organizations, Non-government organizations and aims at honing students’ skills in
project management and economic expertise. The master provides
training in quantitative analysis, survey implementation, and project management.
The professors are very knowledgeable and the delivery is excellent. At the end of the day you would have a holistic approach about how these organizations work and the impact measure of Aids and grants.
View moreI was an Erasmus student of UPEC for a year. My experience there was unforgettable, I always felt welcomed.
The university buildings had good conditions, with a comfy and big library. The professors and staff were, generally, very nice and helpful. Also, in terms of location, there was a metro station really close to the university and good facilities.
As an improvement, I would say the food at the university restaurant could be better and the International students’ office should improve the communication with the students and its availability to solve some issues.
