The campus is expansive and picturesque, with many spaces for studying and socializing. The professors are both knowledgeable and caring, but the engineering program is particularly challenging. Due to the large class sizes, it can be difficult to make friends initially, but this becomes easier as the year progresses. Despite the difficulties, the experience as a whole is a fulfilling and unforgettable one.

The campus is huge and beautiful with lots of study spaces. Some professors are great at their job and really care about their students, but the engineering program is super difficult. It is also hard to make friends with such large class sizes but it gets easier after the first year.

I would recommend UBC as it is a very diverse university providing high level of education. I believe there is room for improvement in by student’s experience by creating a more engaging community in the faculty of applied sciences.

the campus is very beautiful and also very massive. it is located close to a beach, where I like to go to study when the temperature is a bit warmer. I met some of my best friends and my partner there as well, overall an amazing place to study, not to mention world-class professors.

Talking about UBC Okanagan Campus, it’s still a new campus in the developing stage and so it offers many advantages and some disadvantages. UBC Vancouver campus is obviously grand, with lot more facilities, broader courses and other competitive activities compared to UBC Okanagan. But the thing I like about my university is the structure of programs designed which provides you necessary coursework knowledge and the internship program gives you that industrial exposure which is essential for the career path of an student. The class batches are small so professors are more engaging and focused on individual problem solving.

I have zero complaints about UBC. The campus is gorgeous and the classes are excellent. I love my program (Biomedical engineering). Vancouver is incredible and the weather is great for a Canadian city. The only downsides is it rains A LOT in the winter and it’s very expensive.
