I enjoyed my time at the University of Windsor. I met a lot of great people, including friends I still have today. The University is great because its not too big or too small (at least when I was there). Their programs give you the real life experience needed to survive and succeed in today’s every changing world. I would recommend U Windsor to people to see if its a fit for you.
View moreI studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Windsor. Honestly, it was not a good choice for me. The program felt too theoretical and not very aligned with what I expected. There is limited hands-on learning, and some courses feel outdated. It might work for others, but it didn’t match my interests or career goals.
View moreThe university offers wide range of options like research focused MASc and MEng courses with flexible length of programs. this program provides flexibility with diverse career goals from advance research to industrial goals
View moreI studied English and the arts, humanities, and social sciences schools are all very underfunded, limiting the support faculty and staff can provide to students. I have also personally heard from other students that they dislike the repetitive content across different courses. However, I was personally able to make my journey fulfilling and informative. The school has a lot of associated events and volunteer opportunities, and the staff generally try their best to provide students with a good experience. If you’re able to adapt easily and quickly, and you can make and keep friends, it is definitely worthwhile. The creative writing program is, in my humble opinion, the best of the arts degree options available. Knowledgeable, helpful professors and students.
View moreThe University of Windsor has good facilities and strong funding opportunities in mechanical and electrical engineering, particularly through automotive-related scholarships. The university provides useful resources for engineering research and practical learning. However, the program quality could improve if fewer students were admitted to MEng programs and more emphasis were placed on academic background rather than revenue generation.
