I am currently a first-year BBA student at the Schulich School of Business, and my experience so far has been very positive. The program is fast-paced and academically rigorous, but it places a strong emphasis on developing practical, real-world skills rather than just memorizing information.
One of the standout aspects of Schulich is how much professors genuinely care about student success. Many courses incorporate hands-on learning, group work, and real-life applications, which make the material more engaging and relevant. The program encourages students to think critically and apply concepts in meaningful ways.
However, the environment is quite competitive, especially with a large number of driven and high-achieving students. Balancing academics with extracurricular involvement and career preparation can feel overwhelming at times.
Overall, Schulich offers a strong foundation for students who are motivated and willing to take initiative. While it can be demanding, it is ultimately a rewarding experience that prepares students well for future career opportunities.

Hard to land first year internships but a lot of opportunities to succeed with a strong club environment. Seeing many upper years are having huge lands at big companies and Schulich has a good name attached to it.
