As a third year student at TorontoMet I can confidently say that my experience here has been pretty good overall compared to my previous post-secondary experience. Being in the heart of Toronto is amazing since we have access to basically everything in the vicinity which helps me to feel less isolated. As a student with a disability I appreciate how the university has a lot of services on campus for extra help, to ask questions and resources for our mental health. The campus itself feels like its in its own bubble and I haven’t had any issues with buildings or classrooms. Moreover, my ability to excel in my program here has boosted my confidence and allowed me to validate that I chose the right university and program for me.
View moreRyerson University is an equitable institution. The professors are incredibly nice and accommodating. The institution has policies that are equitable. For example, when you need an extension at the last minute, you can submit a doctor’s note within the first three days of the assignment deadline. This helped me so much throughout the years!
