Waterloo gives me a chance to learn in a fast-paced environment while meeting people from different backgrounds. I enjoy working on projects that challenged me to think critically and solve real problems. If I had to describe my experience in one word, I’d say “worthwhile.” The workload could be intense, but it pushes me to become more organized and independent. And I love and appreciate every step of this journey.

My time at the University of Waterloo is defined by the incredible co-op program, which is giving me two full years of paid, real-world experience. I love my tight-knit engineering cohort. While off-campus life is pretty quiet, I’ve found an amazing community through clubs. It’s a school which challenges you positively and is absolutely worth the effort.
