Studies abroad are a great way to gain precious experience and mix business with pleasure — after all, once an eventful day full of classes finishes, you can visit the most popular landmarks and taste local cuisine.
Studying marketing at Concordia has been a great experience overall. The program mixes solid theory with a lot of practical learning—like real case studies, group projects, and chances to work on hands-on campaigns. Professors often have industry experience, which makes the classes feel super relevant. There’s a strong focus on digital marketing, analytics, and sustainability too, which I’ve really appreciated. It’s helped me build both my creative and strategic skills, and I feel much more confident heading into the industry.

View moreOverall it was an okay experience, but would i recommend it ? Maybe not. Talking subjectively about my program, it’s rare to find good teachers, and if you do good luck trying to get into their classes. Many teachers have thick accents, sometimes making it hard to understand what they are saying. Many students also agree, that lectures have gotten boring and teachers rely on power-points. Exams are designed poorly, sometimes grammar mistakes can also be found.
