Overall, I had a great experience at the University of Guelph. The on campus food was terrific and the campus itself was beautiful. As a student with disability, I also received adequate support from University of Guelph counsellors who assisted me with time
View moreThe psych program is ok. A lot of professors don’t know how to teach and assignments can be repetitive and dull. But besides a few bad apples, Guelph as a campus and as a city is amazing and accommodations are great. However, a job opportunity in this program is slim in the undergrad. Most co op positions are not in the actual field and are highly competitive.
View moreHaving most of my university experience online due to the COVID-19 pandemic was a huge challenge. It was a barrier to in-depth learning and enjoyment of the content. With this said, some professors really stood out in making learning as interactive and enjoyable as possible. Even when the content was interesting, it was difficult to stay on track when there was no guidance from professors, and everything was for students to do on their own.
View moreI attended The University of Guelph for 5 years to pursue an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. It was the best experience not only for my academic career, but for my personal and professional growth. The support of the campus community, professors, and the multiple opportunities to get involved on campus made it feel like my home away from home!
