Amazing university and great student life

I was part of an international MSc programme in Marine Science. The university has amazing facilities (classrooms and labs). The quality of education is astonishing, the professors are top researchers on the topic, although the professors can be way too strict at times and the evaluation methods quite hard. The city of Ghent is also a very nice and vibrant place where you can enjoy the tourist attractions and enjoy the Belgian culture. Besides, that is a student city, therefore there is always something going on. I really enjoyed my time in Ghent and cannot recommend it enough, hight recommend.
