Dhaka University is a public research university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is Bangladesh’s first university. The university motto is “Education is light”. There are qualified teachers, great research facilities, and adequate accommodation for students.
View moreThe university is considered one of the top 4 universities in Bangladesh that provides International standard education along with a high probability of graduate employment opportunities. My program is BSc in Statistics. I believe that this program is very much demandable in Bangladesh and abroad as well. So there is a huge chance to build a shiny professional career in this field. My teachers always inspired me to work hard to do my best. They are so kind and helpful. They try to make their classes much more effective for us. Besides education services, the independent organizations also organize a lot of programs and events where students can learn and experience different skills as well as get involved to foster their future prospects. As I experienced, this University really has a lot to offer to the students.
View moreAs a Master’s level student, I was prepared mentally that I have to take the pressure of studies and prepare myself for further studies abroad. It was even more than what I expected from this course at DU. Here, I could understand that I had a great lacking of knowledge even completing my bachelor’s studies in Mathematics. I worked hard for some days and tried my best to cope with the master’s course here. The teachers were much strict but open to discussing the things that we were not able to catch immediately. The professors are highly qualified as they have experience in studying both in the top universities in Bangladesh and abroad, as well as experiences of teaching for so long. The administration bodies are so much strict and sometimes make things complicated that I don’t like about these universities. Another thing is that the professors are so much professional that they don’t usually allow students to talk openly about their personal ideas and thoughts. the university also lacks a peaceful environment because of some political chaos. though these are not that much related to the program, it somehow affects students’ minds to focus on studies. But I am happy with the educational services provided by this university.
