I studied at AIUB and overall had a positive experience. The university has a very strong academic structure.
What I liked:
The campus environment is modern and well-equipped
AIUB has a good reputation among employers in Bangladesh.
Extracurricular activities and clubs are active and well-organized.
What I didn’t like:
Class sizes can be large, so individual attention is limited.
The Wi-Fi on campus is often slow or unreliable during peak hours.
Would I recommend it?
Yes, I would recommend AIUB to students who are self-motivated and can handle a fast-paced academic calendar.
I pursued my BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), and my overall experience was highly positive. The programme offers a solid balance between theoretical foundations and hands-on practical learning, making it suitable for students aiming for both industry and academia.
One of the highlights was the supportive faculty members who were always approachable and knowledgeable. Courses were well-structured, and lab facilities were up-to-date, helping us apply our knowledge effectively. The university also encourages extracurricular involvement through clubs and competitions, which made student life vibrant and engaging.
However, the administrative processes could be more streamlined, especially regarding course registration and documentation.
I would definitely recommend this university to students looking for a strong foundation in CSE within a supportive academic environment in Bangladesh.
