I think Murdoch University is a well reputed university that provides quality education at a reasonable cost. It has a supportive team of faculty that has helped me throughout my journey of 3 years. It has a wide variety of majors with flexible schedules that helps to balance study-work life.
View moreAs an international student from Indonesia, studying at Murdoch University was a unique experience. Adapting to its culture and pace was initially challenging but rewarding. The student counselors were incredibly supportive, offering meetings and tips to ease my transition. I made wonderful friends from various countries, including the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and fellow Indonesians. The campus environment was vibrant, featuring an Asian cafeteria, lush outdoor parks, and comprehensive facilities. Overall, it was an enriching and memorable journey.
View moreMy experience at Murdoch University was quite fulfilling. The program offered a strong blend of theory and practical work, which helped me build a solid foundation in Information Technology. The professors were knowledgeable and approachable, which made learning engaging. I also appreciated the diverse student community that allowed me to gain new perspectives.
However, I felt that some areas could improve, especially in providing more real-world application opportunities, like internships or partnerships with companies.
View moreThe university has an interesting curriculum. We mostly work on projects. Sometimes it was fun and easy, sometimes it was slightly challenging. Everything we learn is new to us. The only regret I have is that our classes were mostly online. We were going through Covid between 2020-2022, which unfortunately coincided with my year. Other than that, I believe I would recommed this university to others if they feel up for the challenges.
View moreI did a double major bachelors in Computer Science and Business Information Systems. The best part about doing it in Dubai is that an academic year has not just 2 but 3 terms enabling a student to finish a 3 year degree in just 2 years. The staff are incredibly supportive and attentive to every single student in the class. One of the main things I loved here was just how simple the grading system and the learning objectives were. It is straightforward and idiot-proof. I would, however, wish there was more recreational activities available in the campus.
