Edith Cowan University (ECU) stands as a premier institution that has truly impressed me with its commitment to providing a holistic education experience. The university’s focus on practical learning and industry engagement is commendable, preparing students for the challenges of the real world. The faculty members are dedicated and knowledgeable, fostering a stimulating academic environment. The state-of-the-art facilities and resources further enhance the learning journey. ECU’s inclusive and diverse community is a testament to its commitment to fostering an accepting environment. View moreI studied history and politics, and the library and academic spheres at ECU were very well equipped for me to be able to further my research and learning within my degree. The lecturers were very invested in their subjects and in open debates with students where all opinions were discussed and argued.
View moreSo far this is my first year at ecu studying primary education, and at first, I thought it will be boring, however as I got to know my teachers and my classmates it has been a wonderful first semester and I look forward to completing this degree as I cannot wait to become a primary school teacher.
View moreThe Master of Arts (performing arts) at Ecu/WAAPA is an exceptional course for the budding researcher in the fields of Music and the performing arts. Being a concert performer and having had my undergraduate experience in Europe (Spain) I can say that the facilities at WAAPA are second to none. The four recording studios have provided me with ample space to record and perform, along with having performed multiple times in the larger of the two fully equipped auditoriums. Each concert is recorded so that the students can receive immediate feedback on each of their performances. The four-story library on the ecu campus also aids my research to no end, as it is fully stocked with relevant materials. Most importantly, my supervisor, Dr J Paget is at the top of his game both as a guitarist and researcher, providing me with support in and off the concert stage.
