The Master of Arts (performing arts) at Ecu/WAAPA is an exceptional course for the budding researcher in the fields of Music and the performing arts. Being a concert performer and having had my undergraduate experience in Europe (Spain) I can say that the facilities at WAAPA are second to none. The four recording studios have provided me with ample space to record and perform, along with having performed multiple times in the larger of the two fully equipped auditoriums. Each concert is recorded so that the students can receive immediate feedback on each of their performances. The four-story library on the ecu campus also aids my research to no end, as it is fully stocked with relevant materials. Most importantly, my supervisor, Dr J Paget is at the top of his game both as a guitarist and researcher, providing me with support in and off the concert stage.
