My opinion of the University of Melbourne is pretty straightforward. As long as you engage and make the most of it – you will have a great time. It is not for everyone, but for many. You have to seek out help, seek out friends, join clubs. It is a very proactive place.

I’m doing my masters that include a 75% research component and I previously studied my undergrad in Malaysia. It’s safe to say that this university in comparison is ten fold better. And the exposure and experience that you get from your peers and supervisor is firsthand and in my experience definetly my money’s worth. I would not have had it any other way and I’m extremely grateful to be where I am and in this university 🙂
