Curtin University Women's Department

I was a member of the Curtin Women’s Collective in 2021 and got promoted to become the Secretary of the collective just this year. As a member of the Curtin Women’s Department, I got the opportunity to promote women’s rights and security on campus. This can be seen through my organisation of the online fundraising event for the “End gender violence against women” campaign along with the Women’s Collective officer at that time.

When I joined the Women’s Collective this year, I got promoted to become a Secretary and it was a great experience as well being able to voice out ideas and ways to raise more awareness of women’s rights, liberty and security on campus. I am going into my last year of my studies at Curtin and it was an amazing experience being a student at Curtin as I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Curtin Student Guild and raise awareness of societal issues that I strongly such as women’s rights.
