I have chosen to study at the Universitat De Barcelona for my Erasmus year. My reasons for choosing the University was for its wide variety of courses that were available and also that I had heard previously that it is a great place to meet International and Local students. All of this proved true when I arrived in Barcelona from the UK. The University is very welcoming to International Students that arrive and instantly I was meeting new people from all over the world on a daily basis. The international office is extremely helpful when it comes to choosing courses and helping you to settle into the University. I started my classes and I found the professors and facilities for studying very good. In particular Virtual campus which is where the work and slides from each class are uploaded. I would recommend the University of Barcelona to any student considering studying in Spain. Barcelona is also an amazing city, you will begin to feel as though it is your second home.
