Rotterdam School of Management

Located in the city of Rotterdam, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, is one of the best business universities in the Netherlands. They have more than 45 years of experience in business and management education. They offer undergraduate and graduate programmes. Rotterdam School of Management was ranked in the top 10 list of Best European Business Schools rankings by Financial Times. This school houses over 6000 bachelor and masters students, they also have over 400 business students.

RSM also actively recruits people all over the world. Currently,  has an office in Chengdu so it can bring its services to mainland China. In the recent past, it also had offices in Taipei, Taiwan, and in Amsterdam.

About Rotterdam

Since Rotterdam is Europe’s largest port city, it is a global hub for travel and commerce. Apart from the amazing professional opportunities that you will get here, RSM is a perfect place to mingle with new cultures and people. The progressive community and active culture and nightlife all are a great way to meet new people. Best of all, the people are great: the Netherlands is often ranked as one of the happiest countries in the world.

Student Reviews

One of the students says that they really appreciated that there are a lot of international students on the campus, approx. 70%. Plus, the university is great giving flexibility to students who choose to go to lectures or study from books. The student also appreciated the city of Rotterdam and says that in their opinion it is underrated. The biking and nightlife culture is great, plus the average age of the people in the city is young.

Great City, Great University

The first advantage of studying at RSM is that there is a very large number of internationals, in my program approximately 70% of the student body comes from abroad. Additionally, I feel like the university really allows you to choose the method of studying that you want to pursue. For example, if you like to go to lectures, then you have them almost everyday. However, if you’re more into studying directly from the book, then no need to go to lectures.

Rotterdam itself is such an underrated city. Everyone is biking, there’s a great nightlife and the average age of the city (at least near Kralingen) is super young. However, beware, it’s super hard to find accommodation.

However, I feel that the program i’m studying (International Business Administration) has too many theoretical courses that I cannot really apply in real life. But I have good news, they are tweaking the program to allow for more real-life application.

Overall I would really recommend this university.

A student studying business administration exclaims that he went there because of the high standards of the university and so far, the university hasn’t failed him. The university provides qualitative time at university and also does not overload students with homework and gives time to do other things, not just studies (part-time job, sports, associations, etc). However, the student suggested that the university should do something about student accommodations as finding a place to stay is difficult.

International environment and high quality of studies, ideology of university!

I have been studying here for almost a month and I already have an opinion about this university! I came here because of the university’s high ratings and, because Netherlands is known for it’s high educational level and stable economic situation!
So far university hasn’t failed me and is upon its standards. I really love the ideology of university, that provides qualitative time at university and also does not overload students with home works and gives time to do something else, not just studies (part-time job, sports, associations, etc).
Outside studies there were critical situation with accommodations, because there were huge amount of students that came here without place to stay. This is question that university needs to consider and make improvements (accept less students or make some student apartments).
Also I am not in awe about all professors, but i think it depends on people and you can’t get everyone’s affection, main point is to give value to our knowledge!
I love environment in this school and can’t wait for everything that is expected in the future!

Radboud University Nijmegen is a place full of possibilities, opportunities, and support. The university has a wide range of studies on different faculties. The campus is very green and has many facilities to enjoy your studies apart from simply following courses. Among other things, there is a career service, study associations, a sports center and an academic writing center where you can follow activities or get help with your future planning. All in all, Nijmegen is a great student city with a well-facilitated university. I definitely made the right choice to follow a bachelors programme at the RU and I am looking forward to the upcoming years in Nijmegen!
