If you’re considering studying at Ghent University, here’s a brief overview of my experience as a student there. I am not from Europe, so in the beginning, everything was very difficult for me to adapt to. The course offered me chances to volunteer and intern at some event companies in The Netherlands, which helped me improve my knowledge and skills. Besides, the field trips to UtrechtParis and Disneyland Paris were insane!! The students are very friendly, the coaches from Leisure and Tourism are approachable but still sometimes could be improved. So, despite some negative feedback, my experience at NHL was very good!!

My personal experience at NHL Stenden has been very different for myself because i come from a former communist and conservative country which is very focused on theoretical learning and less on creativity and personal development.
I believe design based education did not only open a lot of doors for me to learn through practice but i did also enjoy working in groups which all of the courses at NHL Stenden do. Furthermore until now i had no problem adapting and meeting new international students and i also was very much happy to work with multiple companies and clients for the different projects that we needed to do .
As for the time management in order for you to study and work i had no problems with until now – and i am a second year student.
In addition i have also enjoyed being able to assimilate the Dutch culture through NHL Stenden and with the help of our teachers.

My experience at NHL was very important in shaping me to who I am now.
I‘m a German Leisure and Eventmanagement student and currently in my fourth year. Right now, I‘m in Berlin doing my internship at a TV and Radio company. But how did I get here?
Moving to the Netherlands after graduating from school was a big step and I was definitely nervous but NHL (the coaches, the people, and other students) made it really easy for me to feel comfortable. Soon, I realized that I can be whoever I want in this environment. That gave me the opportunity to develop new skills professionally but also on a personal level, I grew and learned a lot about myself.
The educational system being very practical combined with theory was the perfect system for me to learn the most.
I do have to say that sometimes the communication between the different people and facilities within NHL could be better because sometimes it was a bit chaotic but with enough self initiative it is all possible.

I had dreamed about studying at this specific university since when I was 14 years old and fortunately, I made it all true. Now, I’ve been studying at this university for almost 5 months and I can see everything going on here. I genuinely love how our studying is flexible because we can study as we want to and if you don’t want to study you can either study later or you can just fail. Campus definitely has a great atmosphere as it is full of international students from different backgrounds being united at the same place. The studies mostly depend on the student themselves, so if you are not a good self-learner it might not be a good idea for you to come study at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

I enjoyed being surrounded by international students. In programs such as International Communication and Media it improves the discussions in class significantly, contributing to overall awareness. The campus is also very nice and modern!

Keele is ideal for those seeking a quieter, academically focused environment but might not suit students looking for a vibrant, urban university experience.

While the university provides strong academic support and a range of courses, certain facilities, such as accommodation and campus amenities, don’t always worth the money.

Keele’s nursing program is well-regarded for its academic rigor and focus on real-world experience. It provides hands-on learning through clinical placements. The campus provides state-of-the-art simulation facilities, allowing students to develop critical skills in a controlled environment

My overall learning experience has been a pleasant one. The modern lecture theatres and laboratories in Keele University available to everyone, enriching the learning atmosphere. There are so many things I love about the University of Liverpool. For instance the incredibly friendly and welcoming community. Moreover, the atmosphere is supportive and full of life making it easy to find friends and feel as if you are at home.

Overall, the University of Liverpool is an above-average university with decent opportunities. I like the university’s tutors and its in-depth courses related to the subject, with a lot of heavy quant-focused courses. The university has a lot of reputation with employers due to its unique Redbrick and Russell Group status. Overall, it’s a good university for students who know what they want. However, while it’s great in many ways, its career support team was not up to the mark and distance from major cities like London and Manchester makes it tough for students to connect with alumni and employers. Limited work opportunities and fewer institutions and career hubs in Liverpool make it tough for students to find jobs.

As an international student, my time at Mathematics and Informatics Faculty, Vilnius University (MIF-VU) has been fulfilling. MIF has a very supportive education system, learned faculty and class fellows who actively participate in projects and social activities. The Teachers are knowledgeful and experienced, always willing to help the students. The Masters in Software Engineering program has helped me apply theoretical knowledge in skills enhancement and boost up confidence. I believe it is going to improve my academic and professional endeavors.
