The Urban Management and Development program was very international but a waste of time and money. No help finding housing and a lot of students ended up struggling through the year because of it. Professors aren’t helpful or well informed about topics in the name of the tracks, they tell you to go to other students for help, and many students were cheating with the help of a professor giving them past exams while others were left in the dark. Honesty was not valued here. The program was oversold with nothing taught in depth. Positive applications were never discussed; only negative and remained surface level. Relied heavily on group work with little time put on individual assignments besides exams. Sometimes exams were the only grade given. Professors did not coordinate so most lessons were repeats over the entire year.

A very prestigious university with one of the most prepared professors and scholars, from which I learned numerous subjects, starting from the beginning with my beloved subject, Mathematics, until majoring and specialising in Finance and writing my thesis on a current topic in the industry. Even thought I started my bachelor’s during Covid, I have had all the socialising possibilities as well as all the technical tools and campus buildings designed for us to still make most of the student life. I recommend this university to any high schooler eager to begin their journey living and studying abroad to one of the most English friendly country with one of the top universities in Europe and across the globe.

The campus is modern and international, so it’s easy to meet students from different countries. However, because of the size of the university, it can sometimes feel a bit impersonal and you need to make an effort to connect with others.

I love the international atmosphere at this university and the overall vibe, the lecturers and the programme is very professional, although food options and prices can be improved.

The university has a lot of student clubs and sports events that you can join, so it’s easy to make friends. The university helps with finding a job as well and helps you connect to possible employers. I would recommend this university.
