The University of Liverpool was founded in 1881 and has been providing world-class teaching and learning ever since. The Department of Computer Science is one of the top computer science-related research and education centres. The department works closely together with industry and academic partners around the globe, in order to develop technologies and applications, including mobile computing and artificial intelligence. Lessons are taught by highly qualified industry professionals. More than 40 academic staff are involved in research and training. Over 600 undergraduates are attending courses at the university.
