The Marketing Course at this uni a great course with exceptional industry connections – for example a brand assessment centre from The Hut Group and an assessment centre at Anfield Football Stadium! The campus is great as it is all connected and everything can be found there – so whether you are a Starbucks or Cafe Nero kind of person the campus has everything. Freshers is great with campus tours, city walks and course talks to connect you with fellow coursemates. Halls was also a great experience – I loved the halls packs where you can get free tshirts, baking kits and we even got free dominoes pizzas!!

One of my favourite things about this university is the diversity of its people. I met so many different people during my time here, from all different backgrounds and experiences. Not only did these people provide me with insight and knowledge into their own cultures and beliefs, they also allowed me to learn about and understand different ways of life that I would have otherwise never been exposed to. The tutors were also incredibly supportive on this course and allowed me to excel.

UoL is an amazing lovely place to study and live in. The campus location is a walking distance to the city centre and to the transportation links train and bus. according to academic part, the lecturers are extremely enthusiastic about their work and the training courses are useful and diversified to all students’ level. The life is easy and and people are helpful which make students feel less home sick and enjoy every moment being in UoL.

It’s a common problem for most humanities subjects; we get very little value for money in comparison to STEM subjects. Overall the standard of teaching was high and most tutors were very supportive.

However, the university could have done more in terms of resources for students. Perhaps providing books or trips away centred on the arts would have put us on a more equal footing to other subjects.

I was most impressed by the extensive range of content available in each course; every course is suitable to every person who is interested because there is something for everyone! I also loved the campus. It isn’t spread out over miles; everything is in the same cluster and is so close to town/accommodation/second-year housing to rent. I was so happy and so impressed with the support and opportunities I received at university and the things I learned and discovered outside of my course. It’s amazing for both education and lifestyle.
