I would surely recommend this university. There are a highly educated staff with an amazing attitude to teaching which is one of a kind. The important plus is also infrastructure and technology which is highly developed.
View moreThe Cracow University of Economics is a great place to study – the general studying experience is really nice. They deliver quality learning paths and up-to-date resources. The teaching staff is mostly academic professionals, therefore relying on curriculum and books (only in some cases u can count on real-life work experience examples). The knowledge you get is mostly theoretical. All classes are taking place within one university Campus – a great advantage as you don’t have to run around the city in between different lectures.
There are some weak spots as well – in some cases the knowledge is not up-to-date with the industry situations and is theoretical. I can recommend the university but make sure to have some internship gigs to get practical skills as well.
Personally, I see a great value in the knowledge I acquired there but on the practical side – I learned a great deal more in actual work.
View moreThe choice of higher education is one of the most important in the life of a young adult. Why? I went through it myself. As a young man – eighteen years old – I did not know what I wanted to do in my life. nay! I did not know what options to choose from! And yet, this will most likely have a significant impact on my career path. At EDUopinions, they are well aware of the impact that this choice can have on a young person’s future. I can search for institutions dealing with management, international business, finance, marketing, social sciences, medicine, arts, and many more. And at the age of 18, I knew what I wanted to do in my life. I chose Finance and Accounting, even though I didn’t know I liked them! As a result, I was able to find a job in a bank and buy my own apartment! who would have thought! If you are afraid that an opinion is not correct – do not be afraid! Users who want to post a review must be logged in to their LinkedIn or Facebook profile. Also, Users can browse the most popular placements and learn more about the best universities and business schools in each region. That is why I chose Porto for part-time studies. It was the most brilliant thing that happened to me in my entire life, and I am quite young!
View moreAlthough I have no other experience in this field in the meaning that I have never been a student of a different university, even temporarily, I feel that this Cracow University of Economics gives enough opportunities so that almost it all depends only on you. To participate in all these mostly quality meetings, events, to be able to enjoy and benefit from every possibility that this University offers you, you would have to multiple yourself many times. I found my passion for learning in this University and I am really proud of what I have achieved so far. I can clearly see how this University fostered my overall development throughout these 2 years. Although they were only 2 yet incomplete years it feels like much more. The number of utilized opportunities, collected experience, knowledge, made friendships and contacts – that is the essence of the better side of life, which giving a try I highly recommend to every both younger and older person 🙂
View moreI enjoyed my years at Cracow University of Economics immensely! I think if offers interesting subjects and majority of lecturers is inspiring and knowledgeable. The most important – international exchange programmes allowed me to study abroad which was the time of my life.
Individual approach and possibility to have a tutor and select my courses and (thanks to WISE programme) was crucial for me.
Beautiful campus with cozy cafes was a bonus.
International students from Erasmus programs are included in the class as the Polish students! That’s great that we aren’t left by the side as in other universities…
Moreover, even if the semester is done online, teachers are always available to help us and are very responsive to our emails
Studying at this university gives a great opportunity to study, get a degree and also focus on your avocation. Lectures are mostly based on literature given at the beginning, it is not hard to catch up. If you’re willing to work additional or maybe start building a business career you may find a lot of time to do it. When you start your UEK’s journey it is good to choose some extra activities like joining a student’s association. There are plenty of them but only a few give real profits as business connections or job opportunities. What is the main advantage of the university? Pancakes with quark and strawberries in Ustronie canteen.
View moreI was studying at the Cracow University of Economics from 2015 to 2019. That time I was a student of Economy which I can describe as simple to pass. As an active student, I was also a part of a community of scientific circles on the University. The most rememberable things about it were our events and projects. I also collected a lot of bad experiences through that period of the time. As the most significant I recall the one related to the way of treating students by deans and other university officials. At the first sight everything seems to be ok but indeed we had many problems with administration staff because they usually do not help students and try to drop responsibility for their own mistakes. Moreover, interpretation of inner law was discretionary and sometimes they adopt many different interpretations of the regulations for the same cases(usually to the detriment of students). For example, in September 2016 or 2017 rector had changed the interpretation of study regulations in order to reduce the amount of students without communication with them. It resulted that many students had a problem with graduation. Sad to say but since 2017 Cracow University of Economics is the worst economic academy in Poland.
