Schiller International University’s Madrid Campus has been selected for the School of Distinction Award by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
The United States Department of Education recognizes ACCSC as the designated institutional accrediting body for over 650 post-secondary institutions that provide education to over 150,000 students in a wide variety of programs each year. Its role is to assess the education quality of the institution it accredits. This award has been granted following the accreditation process that ACCSC conducted at Schiller International University during the first half of 2023, which resulted in the university’s accreditation by ACCSC in June 2023. “Achieving ACCSC Accreditation is an important milestone that solidifies our reputation as a recognized institution of higher education. This means that our programs, faculty, and administrative processes have met and surpassed the stringent standards set forth by the ACCSC. This accomplishment reflects the exceptional quality of education and services we provide to our students, as well as the tireless efforts of our talented staff” said at the time Marta Muñiz, CEO President of Schiller International University.
The ACCSC’s School of Distinction Award acknowledges Schiller International University’s Madrid Campus “commitment to the expectations and rigours of accreditation as well as a commitment to deliver quality educational programs”, as stated in the announcement letter sent by ACCSC’s Executive Director, Michael McComis.
The achievement results from collaborative contributions from all of Schiller’s faculty, staff, students, and alumni. “This is the best example of teamwork, and this recognition is the result of the extraordinary talent we have throughout Schiller International University, working towards the common goal of achieving excellence in education, of turning our vision into reality”, said Marta Muñiz, when sharing this award with staff and faculty at a meeting recently.
She added: “More than an accolade, the School of Distinction Award reinforces Schiller International University’s mission to equip students with the skills they need to excel in today’s global and interconnected landscape. This recognition attests to the quality of education the university provides and its positive impact on students’ lives.”
Schiller International University will be presented with the School of Distinction award during the Annual Meeting and Institutional Awards Celebration of ACCSCÂ on September 20, in Arlington, Virginia.
